This new coin is modeled after a five cent coin in circulation from 1913 to 1938 recognizes the American Indians and the wildlife encountered during the famed Lewis and Clark expedition to explore the west. It is the first complete change for the U.S. nickel in 67 years. (the face side has been changed also). Gorgeous two tone gold on silver U.S. buffalo nickel. Each one of these new U.S. coins is first layered in pure bright silver. Then the figures (Buffalo) of each are highlighted and brought to life with rich pure 24kt gold (this gold work is done by hand). This breathtaking and exclusive work turns these coin into stunning and true works of art. Each coin is hermetically sealed against wear in clear, hard acrylic coating. The coins are then made into a unique pair of cuff links and placed in a jewelry box. Please Note: The gold and silver is much brighter and distinct than what the photograph shows.
